Join nonprofit expert, foundation executive, author, and coach Bob Wittig for a complimentary session on how to set boundaries on roles and disperse responsibilities to the appropriate governance or staff person.
Participants will explore the top three roles and responsibilities of a good board, the board meeting experience and the four factors that contribute to high performing boards.
Who Should Attend?
Two people from each organization should attend together, preferably a board and staff member. Register the name of each person separately. Space is limited.
About Bob Wittig
Bob served as executive director at the Catalogue for Philanthropy, Jovid Foundation, and Academy of Hope. He was director of development at Joseph’s House and direct marketing manager at Special Olympics International. His nonprofit experience includes grant making, program development and implementation, budget development, fundraising, strategic thinking, and board training and development. He helped found Mundo Verde Public Charter School and the Skyland Workforce Center, was selected to be part of the first group of Peace Corps Volunteers to Ukraine and completed the Georgetown Leadership Coaching Certification Program.
Bob has written articles for Charity Channel and was a contributing author to YOU and Your Nonprofit Board: Advice and Practical Tips from the Field’s Top Practitioners, Researchers, and Provocateurs. In 2015 he co-authored Nonprofit Board Service for the GENIUS with Susan Schaefer.
