Candid’s 2-hour virtual workshop is for fundraisers of color who are ready to discuss the elephant in the room: the impact of racism on fundraising professionals of color.

Are you thriving? Are you merely surviving? Please come ready to share what you have learned, ask questions, and connect with your fundraising peers.

Join us for a frank conversation about our lived experiences as people of color who spend a great deal of our time pursuing contributions from white high-net-worth individuals or grants from white-led institutions. Carving out a career as a nonprofit fundraiser of color is not for the faint of heart. Candid is committed to our missions, dedicated to securing contributed revenue for our organizations, and invested in our professional development.

Let’s learn the best ways to manage racism in our jobs and not only survive but thrive in our careers.

This virtual workshop will take place on Friday, June 12 at 2:00-4:00 p.m. ET/11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. PT.

This workshop is for:
Aspiring, new, and seasoned fundraisers of color
White allies – supervisors, fundraisers, HR staff, volunteers, and colleagues

By enrolling in this training, you agree to grant Candid permission to document this session with photography, film, and/or video. Material captured may be used in future publications, brochures, or other printed materials used to promote Candid. Please inform the instructor(s) if you do not agree to these conditions.
