Getting the Most from the Nonprofit Development Center

The Maryland Nonprofit Development Center (NDC) sponsored by the Maryland Department of Commerce is a comprehensive source of technical assistance, coaching and education for young growing nonprofits. Are you curious about the benefits that the Maryland Nonprofit Development Center provides? Join Maryland Nonprofits’ membership team for a quick, but deep dive into how to use the Maryland Nonprofit Development Center. This 30-minute orientation will cover:
- How to access free technical assistance, consulting, and training programs.
- How to login to the Member Portal where you do important things like manage your account, update contact info, add other contacts at your organization, register for events, and renew your membership.
- How to connect with other members inside the online Member Community.
- Benefits including Maryland Nonprofits’ resources; insurance and employee benefits; and member discounts.
- This orientation is most suitable for current NDC participants or those that are eligible for the program. NDC eligible nonprofits should be 501(c)3, 501(c)4 or 501(c)6 organizations in Maryland with budgets less than $750,000 and fewer than 10 years old.
Maryland Nonprofits will host four opportunities for attendees to attend one of these informational sessions. If you cannot register for this particular session, select a date and time below that works best for you.
