It is important to make sure that equitable practices are baked into all that you do as an organization, starting with how you select and bring people onto your team. As an experienced talent leader and coach, Jen Chau Fontan saw the most potential for inequity to creep into the recruiting process because of two scenarios: 1) roles were ill-defined and various members on the interviewing committees had their own definitions of who would fit the roles and 2) interviewing committees were not explicit in how they named or called out their own biases. In Candid’s webinar, we will explore best practices and specific tools for both getting crystal clear in how you are shaping a role so that it is explicit and sets candidates up for success as well as how you are taking an anti-bias approach to your interviewing and candidate evaluation.

Thanks to the generous support of Borealis Philanthropy, Candid is offering this live, online training series to further a variety of conversations on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the social sector. This specific webinar series is free and open to the public.
