Learn@Lunch: Getting a High ROI from Low-Cost Digital Fundraising

Do you get solicitations about expensive fundraising products and services? Are you convinced that there should be a more common-sense approach to effective fundraising? Can you name some of the low-cost or free tools that will help you with more efficient fundraising?
This session will help you learn to create your own digital fundraising campaign, access resources, and improve your approach to crowdfunding and Giving Days techniques. Participants will leave with a step-by-step plan to improve the digital strategies via email, website and social media.
Participants will be able to:
- Write better emails and social media posts for fundraising
- Understand the Giving Days techniques that work best
- Complete a strategy plan and timeline for digital fundraising

About the Speaker
Louis Diez is the Executive Director of Annual Giving at Muhlenberg College. His expertise is in annual fund development, digital fundraising and engagement strategies. He previously was the Director of the Annual Fund and Development Business Operations at the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and before that, Associate Director of Development at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. In this role he led annual giving efforts and worked closely with the Latin-American Studies program. Louis holds an MBA from CUNEF, a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain, and an MM in Music Performance from the University of Tennessee.
